One of the greatest strengths of our church is the willingness of our members to share their time, talents, and gifts. Through our committees, members work together to support the ministry of Peace Lutheran Church, care for one another, and strengthen our congregation's mission. Whether you have a passion for worship, enjoy organizing events, have financial expertise, or simply want to lend a helping hand, there is a place for you to serve.
Worship & Music: This committee works alongside the pastor and musicians to enhance our worship experience. They help with seasonal worship planning, decorating the sanctuary, recruiting worship assistants. and selecting hymns for worship.
Education: The Education Committee nurtures faith formation for all ageas. The committee helps coordinate POW, Vacation Bible School, confirmation support and other educational opportunities throughout the year.
Legacy Fund: This committee oversees the congregation's Legacy Fund, a stewardship ministry established to honor, sustain, and grow the mission and ministries of Peace Lutheran Church. This Fund assists members and our community through benevolence, funds future capital improvements, and helps ensure continued growth.
Property: The Property Committee helps care for our church building and grounds. Members coordinate maintenance projects, identify facility needs and work to ensure our property remains safe, functional, and welcoming.
Stewardship & Finance: This committee encourages faithful stewardship of God's gifts and helps oversee the financial health of the congregation. They help with budgeting, annual giving campaigns, and long-range financial planning.
Evangelism: The Evangelism Committee shares the love of Christ by reaching beyond our church walls and creating opportunities to connect with our community. The committee coordinates and organizes events such as our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Truck or Treat, and other family-friendly activities. The committee also plans and participates in projects that support our local community, demonstrating God's love through acts of service and kindness.
Youth: The Youth Committee helps coordinate the annual youth fundraising and involvement in the Annual Youth Synod Assembly.
